Who We Are
Owner and operator Susan Lee holds a Master's Degree in Human Services Administration and brings more than 30 years of experience in the caregiver field. Inspired by her desire to help her father remain active, connected, and engaged, Susan recognized a need for a welcoming community where older adults could enjoy companionship, meaningful activities, and a sense of belonging. When she couldn't find a program that reflected that vision, she created Leeside Manor.
Susan's husband, Mark Lee, expanded that vision through the Silver Eagle Project. After retiring in 2015, Mark opened his five-bay workshop to members of the Leeside community, creating a space where people could build, learn, connect through hands-on projects.
One of the group's first and most ambitious projects was assembling a silver RV-12 light aircraft. That project inspired the name that continues today:
